Diana brings a rich and diverse experience in the fields of pilates based physical therapy, orthopedics, and sports medicine. Diana obtained her undergraduate degree and a sports medicine emphasis at University of California- Irvine and a doctorate degree in physical therapy at Western University of Health Sciences. Her physical therapy career began with an athletic training and sports medicine internship at UCI and Mount San Antonio College. She worked with a variety of athletes from football, basketball, soccer, swimming, and dancing teams. Diana also has extensive knowledge in neurology and rehabilitation for stroke, spinal cord injuries, and amputees. She has worked with patients diagnosed with BPPV and vertigo.
In over 12 years of practice as a Physical Therapist, Diana continues to build on her strong foundation. She has worked in the field of physical therapy for 23 years. She has developed her skills in the field of orthopedics and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, as well as a certified Pilates Instructor. Diana will incorporate a variety of techniques and skills from other countries to aid in the holistic healing of the individual to not only return to normal but even surpass their own rehabilitative goals.
